If English is not your first language, you may be more likely to use words like "delve" because that's what you were taught! Additionally, even if you are a native English speaker depending on your socio-economic background you may have been raised to speak a certain "flavor" of English in order to sound more "proper" or "sophisticated"To highlight a particular word as an inherent sign that something is not genuine text is a harmful assumption and should be rejected.#AI #bias #biasInTech

@internetarchive Does "publicly available texts" in the list of services include the functionality of <iframe> elements used to embed the IA BookReader on other websites?Currently, I'm seeing that all URLs of the format https://archive.org/embed/<ia-identifier-string> are returning HTTP 403 errors - whether specified within an iframe or when requested separately.

I am going to be adding a variation on a "warrant canary" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warrant_canary) to the syllabus for any classes that I teach. For example:"I have _not_ been directed by the university, government, or any other organization to add, alter, or remove any portion of this course.
