Perhaps you've seen this chart circulating, along with general discussion claiming that the word "delve" is a sign that something was AI generated.e.g. https://www.businessinsider.com/y-combinator-paul-graham-delve-ai-chatgpt-giveaway-email-pitch-2024-4I'd caution everyone to not fall into this trap of certain words being automatic indicators to dismiss or overlook something.Such an assumption disproportionately affects people who already acutely feel the negative effects of modern tech more so than others.#AI #bias

If English is not your first language, you may be more likely to use words like "delve" because that's what you were taught! Additionally, even if you are a native English speaker depending on your socio-economic background you may have been raised to speak a certain "flavor" of English in order to sound more "proper" or "sophisticated"To highlight a particular word as an inherent sign that something is not genuine text is a harmful assumption and should be rejected.#AI #bias #biasInTech

Remember:AI detectors do not work. There will *never* be a panacea for easing anxieties over whether something is or isn't AI-generated.Anyone claiming to offer such a solution is bullshitting you.Implementing some kind of "detector" or "test" is an irresponsible and harmful decision.#AI #bias #biasInTech
