       @kev I needed ANC earbuds so bought mine to pair with an Android phone I previously owned, and they worked well with it after adding a third party application to monitor the battery charge.I have an iPhone now and the integration is obviously better.

       @ajmartinez right!You do it once every year, or more.At best case scenario, you keep records of that you did the last time, and hope that you will find those records the next time you need them.The scene is common for all encryption libraries and tools where the developers of these libraries assume that their users (the rest of the developers) must have 10 years of experience developing encryption algorithms, or they are cryptography analysts in their spare time.

       @kev Same here. Only for us, WhatsApp has become the de-facto standard. Itā€™s omnipresent, used official communications with schools, kindergartners and some businesses. One of my previous employers used it for internal communication.

       I've used a pipeline implementation where every push to the main branch caused the CI to release a new version of a library. I think that it is a mistake.Unlike building a SaaS application, with a library you  would  probably want to create new releases manually, precisely controlling what goes into every version.Otherwise you might end up confusing the library users with a large number of redundant releases.

       @Gina An overwhelming majority of the open plan offices are in the range from pretty bad to just plain horrible. A well designed office can be a great be a great work environment.

       @zeab interesting, thereā€™s also mesagepack which is quite similar in purpose.Iā€™ve also used thrift and grpc.As for JSON, at least it is better than SOAP. šŸ˜
