       One of the issues I have with "create in public" / "open the garage door" people, is that they assume the "commons" to be a neutral, friendly, "workshop-y scene. And, for people who create pallateable work, it is. But, for anyone who creates at the fringes, and particularly those on the fringes of poltics + art, social media is an especially violent environment. It is not a" safe space." It is a terrible one.

       Which, for those with less conviction, when confronted with this social violence, pushes them back into more tame work. Ever wonder why 99.9999% of "radical work" on social media is tame? Because it needs to be if you don't wanna get swatted. So, yeah. Create in public if what you're creating sits comfortably within the parameters of what's acceptable. But, if your work isn't that, just keep doing it the ol fashioned way, among peers, offline, in galleries, at readings where only 10 ppl show up.

       I'm convinced PARA is simply a rebranding of the first half of the GTD workflow. So, it's GTD sans actioning. The places you put things are the same. Same buckets. Different names.

       One thing I have always loved about Tiago's take on GTD, is his ability to clarify the concepts. He is a wizard at that. It's really impressive. Ps, has anyone looked at GTD for teenagers? It's....incomprehensible!
