intro: i do pen testing, write code, build infrastructure and generally other hackery as needed. particular interests in password cracking, spraying and phishing though I've tested everything from a FreeRTOS plug to a Cray over the years.

@alex whatever the Daily Mail was, it has descended into running these same kind of click-bait scare stories, regardless of any actual facts. (They praised the Truss budget, which resulted in her having the shortest tenure of any UK prime minister, if you want an idea of how much of a handle they’ve got on reality.)

@mjg59 I guess I have been thinking of it in terms of sampling stats; if some assholeish behaviour comes to light from a small number of samples, you can bet there’s probably a whole ocean of assholery as an underlying distribution.
