@Gina Me too. I used to follow that account when I used Twitter in the past. It’s brilliant.

@Gina Awful stuff! I would boot Linux from an USB stick and use it there since everything will just be temporary then. That’s the easiest I can come up with.

@codewiz Ooh, that’s nice. I’m always attempting to install the press-esc-to-close extension and it is always incompatible.

@codewiz Impressive number pf options! I start to wonder how much difference the min and max options make.

@wolf480pl @profoundlynerdy I think it's missing because it's difficult. Lots of people would want this feature in an assembler. I'd be interested to know if you make progress figuring out even what you want. How would you syntactically tell the assembler what you want? Like a block that you state how many cycles it should take? Or should it be possible to somehow set which cycle the read/write in an instruction should take place? How would you handle branches based on memory contents?

@codewiz I have over the years tried to understand how to best use exceptions and I have decided to only use it for exceptional cases where the program can’t continue and must be taken down. All else is handled by simple return value mechanisms. No library or generic functions should use it since it’s creates a hell of different types because of the lack of a strict standard. So it leaves the main program to use its own.

@codewiz Also, if you ever tried to make SID music yourself you will wonder what type of black magic is needed to make it sound like those tunes. A lot of experience is needed to craft something nice.
