@Maryam When a rally car goes off road, one would assume the driver was going crazy fast!And it would have been a more honorable way to end its long career... but no: it was entirely my fault, and it was so lame 😓

My dad is so pissed! I broke his beloved vintage car... the car he would let me drive only under his supervision...We left it in good hands: Piero knows where to find the spare parts, and will call me with a quote.

@ekaitz_zarraga @Maryam But realistically, I wouldn't want to race on public roads, and in a wannabe rally car which lacks all the basic safety equipment: roll bars, fire extinguisher, driver's seat with harness... This car doesn't even have airbags! (they weren't so common 30 years ago)

@ulintl Unfortunately, I can't even play the inexperienced driver card 😫I could say that I've been driving almost exclusively on automatic shift for the last ~13 years, where leaving them on P alone would be fine. The parking lot was almost flat (the car started moving 20-30 seconds after I got out).
