The main obstacles for #linux based distros is the linux community itself.Hate #manjaro, hate #ubuntu. Hate #systemd. Hate snaps, hate flatpacks, hate appimages.Instead of helping linux go total mainstream among general users. We are fighting a pseudo civil war.Don't like a distro? Switch to another. But Please stop this toxicity.

@kev I do agree. SSGs are not at all easy to use for non-techie users, for this when I wanted my father to have a website for his poems, I went to use WriteFreely, so he can upload his poems on his own without the fuss of commit, push, merge conflicts and stuff

@kev I always was/am a fan of watches since I was a toddler, i have had used Casio watches, they are far better than any smart watches in the market. BTW, here's a funny things, when I was a kid, I thought that those 50m 30m water resistant things were denoting time; like you can wear the watch in water or rain for 50 minutes or so.. 😅

My #watch, gifted by my parents when I turned 18.Here's an cool story about a watch which has been in our family for more than 30 yrs. My father had a HMT watch (a big watch brand of India) in his teenage which was gifted to him by his eldest brother, my late uncle, but he lost it when going for an exam, so my uncle gave his own watch to him. My father wore it for many years until he gave it to me. I still have that, but it doesn't work anymore, it can't be repaired as the company shut down.

@kev the company HMT shut down in 2016, just 2 years before the watch stopped working. It was "kinda" revived by Government of India in 2019. But parts are impossible to find for this specific model, as per HMT showrooms.HMT was (is) like Rolex of india.
