       Hey, is there a non-agonizing way to convert a complicated .ai file that you made in #AdobeIllustrator to #Inkscape? Masto-life is making me want to move more fully into open source-villa, but I'm not finding it easy. (Please boost, I'm not sure how to reach the right audience for this question).

       @jxself You’d think. I opened several and let’s just say it was a mess that would have taken considerable time to sort out. Layers were out of order, anything that involved transparency seemed out of sorts, etc.

       @jxself @doctormo Wow, seem to have gotten ahold of the right person. Thanks for the response, Martin! I’m glad to hear that there is a plan going forward. I can see the love and care that’s gone into Inkscape, for sure. I’ve now used it to create some new work and it’s a good tool that’s fit for purpose. Unfortunately, I’m sure like many, I have 1,000s of hours of work invested in .ai files, so that’s an impediment to fully transitioning. I’ll keep checking in.

       @ashqinmoe Whoa, that is super esoteric lens adaptation. And I thought using Deckel mount Schneider-Kreuznach lenses on my Fuji XT was obscure...

       @ashqinmoe nothing like that, just a handful of lenses S-K made for the Kodak Retina. I like the Curtagon 28mm the best.
