       I was recently gifted some IX-Nikkor lenses. These are lenses designed for a unpopular film camera system Nikon produced.(of which I am only aware Nikon only released one camera for, the Pronea S) which used a not very popular film format (APS).The lenses are incompatible with normal mounts; however not wanting these to go to waste, I now have a adapted lens, with working aperature, auto focus, metering...        @a I love the twisty effect of the Helios bokeh. 💜 From my own usage, the IXNikkor, the optics alone seem to be surprisingly good. However, I don't think they have good lens coatings, so they easily flare up. But this is great for me, I definitely have a use for this effect. Usually people pay a lot for expensive filters to do this sort of thing. 😁

       @ashqinmoe Whoa, that is super esoteric lens adaptation. And I thought using Deckel mount Schneider-Kreuznach lenses on my Fuji XT was obscure...

       @ashqinmoe nothing like that, just a handful of lenses S-K made for the Kodak Retina. I like the Curtagon 28mm the best.
