I'm really glad I switched to #Linux.Being able to understand what the issue is then having the ability to solve it by yourself is a great feeling.And I'm by no means a tech person!My computer is finally "mine".I'm the one in control, not a f***ing corporation making billions by sucking out my private info.Honestly, it feels like I'm back in the 2000's when computers were fun to use.#tech

@futurebird I'm not a hater of candy cane/peppermint sticks but I'm not a big fan of hard candy in general.It's too sweet for me. A small one at the end of a meal, why not but you'll never find me binging on hard candy.Chocolate, now...😋

@futurebird I was actually asking myself the same question not long ago.And didn't bother look the answer up.So my guess would be a king/governor/ruler of some kind kicking people out?Mind you, "exile" is kind of the number 1 reason for Biblical characters to move around so I'm not taking much risk here.

@futurebird Just an idea but what about "switching" students around so they have to check someone else's code?I used to do that with my students, asking them to "grade" each other papers.It's always easier to see others' mistakes and it flatters their ego... I mean, self-confidence.Also it's a sneaky way to make them realize that teaching is NOT easy.😉
