@futurebird @edraac You want a classroom story about ants... My 5th grade teacher made a terrarium with ants, a doodle bug (ant lion) & a stick. The doodle bug ate the ants, then hatched into an adult ant lion and then the ants climbed up the stick & ate the doodle bug fly. Taught me a lot about the world. It's a bug eat bug life out here.

@EgyptianAphoristInteresting as I've been thinking about that lately. What constitutes an identity? The mask you show yourself. When you think you've found it, you learn it's only a persona, the mask you show others. When you cast those masks aside or someone rips them off, what is beneath? I've been wrestling with that question all my life. I think I'm closing in on it, but I think it's something else, not something you can name. All your masks and something more. Where the yin and yang meet.

@rebeccabguinn @TonyStarkCan I just point something out? NOBODY was worried about this until the right started harping on it. It's a wedge issue. It's very rare that it even comes up, but they act like the sky is falling. Don't take the bait. BECAUSE the LGBT are smaller in numbers we MUST fight for them because they don't have the numbers. If we let the right have this one, they'll just move to whoever has the next least power & move up the chain till they get to us. We're in this together.
