       @InvaderXan the loneliness has been very hard to cope with. I've been touch-starved like you wouldn't believe, and constant voice and video calls with my partners doesn't help like I need it to. I feel my emotional responses to things regressing too high school. Also wearing a mask makes it hard to see and to breathe, and I feel like I'm alone in being unable to get used to them. TL;DR I'm depressed now

       @InvaderXan knitting is helping, and lunch with my roommate, and games like Minecraft and VRChat where Ican convince myself there are people in the room with me. Regular movie nights on Discord are less effective, because no matter how good I feel, I'll have to be alone again soon.

       @InvaderXan I'm scared that quarantine will never end because there are always people breaking quarantine. The idiots who wear their masks off their noses, and who go to parties, and who don't think this affects them, have taken my life away and are holding it hostage, and I am helpless to get it back.

       I just got laid off in the latest round of Google bullshit, so I guess it's #jobsearch timeI've got 6 years experience writing and editing technical documentation (internal and external), including a year and a half documenting Android device development. I'm good with Markdown, HTML, and YAML, and I've made big accessibility and inclusive language improvements to my team's websites.Currently in the SFO area, but happy to relocate to the Pacific Northwest (US or Canada).
