@wabbster It may not seem like much and this may seem ridiculously Pollyannaish - but I'm glad that you have your phone and can keep in touch with the world 'outside' for even the short time you're in there for the prescription and let us know what's going on! I agree with @TheDonkeySays - hope you have a good treat for yourself lined up for when you leave post-prescription!

@TheDonkeySays @wabbster Why that stupid? :DMany of us went through early years of panic/anxiety without being able to reach out in the moment unless someone was in the room!Technology has tons of problems and can exacerbate anxiety (Etc) but leverage it for all it's worth when you can! :DBesides, as someone who's googled panic attacks at midnight - someone somewhere will always feel mildly relieved when they come across this!

@wabbster @TheDonkeySays This is a slightly 'cutesy' comic series, but this seems apt for Tootsite :D

The North-East shows us the way forward. #CAB may have passed in this skewed Parliament. We cannot let it become an accepted fact in public life.

@Samyukth Excellent thread. Am travelling, so will keep a lookout for protests in whichever city I am! I feel the need to connect with fellow-citizens against bigotry more than ever before!

Oh! We were at Halle the same year! :)That's the sporting experience I am gladdest and most grateful to have had. The joy of watching Federer. And on grass! In 2018! At No. 1!! And close to 15 years after I first watched him play and was spellbound by the fluid grace and incredible power...! The finals were heartbreaking - but the sheer privilege of having watched him across 5 matches was the overpowering memory I carried away. <3

@TheDonkeySays @musafir I still think of it as a State. If India can ever make amends for the history of violence and this most recent military occupation of Kashmir, hopefully it can be a full State again.

I think a lot of us are holding on to Samwise Gamgee's words today: 'theres some good in this world and it's worth fighting for.'We have to.

@musafir It was GOOD be at #JantarMantar this evening. The slogans, the energy in the crowd and the sudden quiet as people stopped for namaz (non-Muslims and those not doing the namaz helping create space, silence and finding paper or cloth for those praying to kneel on). I felt such shame and anger, that fellow citizens had to stand up and declare WHY they deserved to be counted! But also love, solidarity and strength.
