So this place is called a 'rehabilitation center', which is a nice way of saying 'mental asylum'. For me, coming here is a scary thing because what if they decide I'm completely gone and decide to lock me up here???Happened only once but still.

@wabbster It may not seem like much and this may seem ridiculously Pollyannaish - but I'm glad that you have your phone and can keep in touch with the world 'outside' for even the short time you're in there for the prescription and let us know what's going on! I agree with @TheDonkeySays - hope you have a good treat for yourself lined up for when you leave post-prescription!

There's this family sitting near me - girl aged about 5/6 years old, her mom and grandmom (I am assuming). I'm wondering which one is the patient and suddenly the girl runs towards a man - her father. They are visiting her father here, the whole family. The joy on the girl's face is...wow. I'm sobbing.

@TheDonkeySays @wabbster Why that stupid? :DMany of us went through early years of panic/anxiety without being able to reach out in the moment unless someone was in the room!Technology has tons of problems and can exacerbate anxiety (Etc) but leverage it for all it's worth when you can! :DBesides, as someone who's googled panic attacks at midnight - someone somewhere will always feel mildly relieved when they come across this!
