       @adamdavidson I'll say that one thing that would probably help is to abide by the community norms in the Fediverse - which means content warnings on anything that is controversial or could cause stress. Several journas have already said they don't want to/are not going to follow that norm, and that's probably what's getting your instance blocked.

       @vy @adamdavidson These journas have been told that politics is considered controversial and CWs on political posts are the norm. They have two options: use CWs and remain (mostly) unblocked, or refuse to use CWs and get blocked - and get their whole instance blocked. That's the norm, so it doesn't matter if people disagree with what's considered "controversial." This also looks like a Fediverse norm, not an instance-specific norm.

       @obrerx @n69n @fishidwardrobe It's not that they don't understand. It's that they don't care. When people demonstrate not-caring to me and try to excuse it as "not understanding" more than a couple of times, when they've received a clear explanation, I cut them out of my life.
