@futurebird [Me & my fellow childless GenX friends have taken to trolling our friends' kids with the phrase, "which was the style at the time". It's a lot like the game from How I Met Your Mother, called, "Drunk, or Kid", where the gang had to guess whether the stupid thing Marshall did, he did when he was drunk, or a kid. Only, it's for a whole generation!]

@futurebird Same.Just the thought of being surrounded by cameras & crew, while 'showrunners' contrive to embroil me in conflict & drama, makes me nauseous.I dunno? Maybe it's an introvert thing? @futurebird @sundew Back in the day, the ROTC drill teams in districts near the one I attended (we were too small for a ROTC of our own) used to decorate their parade rifles w/ colorful tape, ribbons, etc., lest they be confused w/ actual firearms, leading to an unfortunate misunderstanding... Do they no longer do that?
