@rainignterror1080p @Rasterman They’re the kind of “people” that look down on any job that requires actual physical labor. Jobs that get you dirty are the ones that keep shit going. Meanwhile, those jobs pay more than being a teacher, yet teachers taught us that if we don’t go to college and become slaves to debt, we’d be in those jobs. Last I heard, farmers and garbage collectors don’t worry about being shot every day, but okay.

@Disa pngtubers need different software. I am just still wanting to be a vtuber much more. I think if you do it right with streamlabs obs, you can take donations anywhere and have toggles activated by donations. Twitch integrations make it easier, but it’s possible. They REALLY think they’re the only game in town. But if we normalized using other places that allow for more speech and let vtubers show their hips, we’d just have a better situation. Twitch and YouTube have to stop being the only game in town. They haven’t been creator or user friendly in ages. I wanna allow people to donate with crypto so I don’t lose my revenue suddenly. I heard Projekt Melody got banned from PayPal JUST because she does porn. I don’t even think she used PayPal to take payments related to nsfw. They banned her regarding their “morality clause”. Meanwhile, PayPal owns Honey. They have no room to talk about morals.

@Disa You know way more about crypto than me. Guess I know who to ask later if I need to go in deep with this. These payment systems have been really bad. I argue they could be a threat to our system as a whole. You can’t just decide someone else’s speech or expression is forbidden just because you don’t like it. Not when you’re so big everyone uses your service. Know what’s fine? People carving out spaces that have rules against certain things. Like a discord server or mastodon instance. But if you’re used by everyone and noboy can find a different service to use, you can’t censor that way. PayPal is so inappropriate they censor private activities if they realize their system was used for something nsfw. You suddenly lose access to all your money over it. What if someone sends you money with a fake message saying “thanks for the porn commission” just to demonetize you even if you never drew it? It’s too easy to frame people you hate, and that’s a huge problem.

@Disa Crypto has a bad rep, unfortunately. Lots of misunderstandings about it. Not to tinfoil hat, but one almost wonders if that was planned by Visa and MasterCard. Intentionally putting people out there showing they use crypto and having these actors do really bad things.

If they don’t have USD, they can’t get it, and when they do get it, they have to turn it back into USD to use it anywhere that mattersEven very large, well-known businesses don’t take crypto directly. If they do, they only take the largest, most difficult to get version due to its cost and worthCash App only takes Bitcoin and eats anything else. Everyone wants to just use one simple wallet that every store accepts People can learn how to use it, but most people don’t have time to watch the videos People may finally get fed up with censorship and start looking into it, but it’s taking a long time to actually get mainstream. I want to run most of my website with crypto in the future, but crypto doesn’t even have a simple way to exchange normal money into it, so you can’t set up an exchange thing on the website, so you lose a large amount of customers. I’m trying to figure out how to make it easier so I can actually operate my business, but there’s so many issues that it’s hard for anyone to get into. What kills me is this could be the new standard if people actually had easier entry to start.

@Disa Well, it’s hard to change people’s minds. We’d need to find a way to normalize its use, and make it easier and better to use. If enough people stop using the mainstream stuff, then we will see wide spread change. Card companies cannot decide what we can and cannot use their payment services for. Only governments can. They could if they were a tiny company or something, but everyone uses them, so it’s unacceptable. I’ve always wondered what it took to make my own payment gateway/card company. Crowdfunding an uncensored payment system that uses regular money would be a really popular idea, I bet. People are very tired of all this. However, accepting crypto in more easy ways should still be an option. I think as many payment systems should be an option as possible, and all of them as uncensored as humanly possible.

@Disa You’re so right. Man, is it weird that i kind of hate the sex positive side because they are only pretending to be sex positive? It’s kind of like watching someone be racist and insist they aren’t racist. At least someone who declares, “yeah, that’s me” is being truthful about their beliefs.
