@futurebird I see a lot of shorts on youtube about bees, and it seems bees live in a chain... The bees raise a queen who replaces an older queen, or raise a new one when the old one dies, who births the next queen... I had assumed ants did roughly the same thing. The idea that a single ant can form a colony is neat.

@futurebird Driving fear is the goal. It is amazing what people are terrified of. And it is all learned behavior. Rarely based on anything real. When I was much younger, California was teaching 5 year olds that they were being abused by satanic daycares. Then it was Dungeons and Dragons that was turning people away from Jesus. These days it is AR 15 rifles killing everyone. Covid vaccines making everyone sterile. Post birth abortions. It's nuts what people buy into.

@futurebird Have you tried one of the micro fiber optic cams that plug into the USB port on your phone? they are often used as inspection cams for drains and small openings. Most of the time they have pretty good lights in them, if inferior quality camera resolution. 3MP is what mine is. it is great at looking at things like hair follicles or micro printing on stamps.

@futurebird I am your 1 AI voter. Because I want a phone for my mother that she can just talk to and it does stuff for her. She is in her 80s and just can't learn even a flip phone. She needs a super smart phone.

@futurebird True... I am going to start working on a train around my house... I have 13 acres of woods with a stream on one side, and a river on one end. I figure a few dozen fruit trees, tree houses, and other spots worth visiting by train will be a good legacy for the grandkids. I started digging road bed 30 years ago with a shovel, now I'm about to get serious. But I have stories too... Many of which I can never tell.

@futurebird this happened to me as an adult not long ago. I ran into a guy I know at a bar. The problem was I remembered 2 completely self exclusive things about him. I KNEW both of these things were true, but logically they were mutually exclusive. One, or both memories were completely false. But I knew they were both true.

@KathleenC @petrosyan @publictorsten It was done by A.I. There is no one to fire. I guess you could fire a random person who ordered the A.I. to modify the photo to fit the space, or the team that programed the A.I. I am not sure that would help anything though.

@ErikUden I drew this line during the Clinton administration. I voted for Bill his 1st term, and since then have not voted for a D for POTUS. Several down ballot elections for Ds got my vote, and even a few Rs. But I feel my vote is best going to 3rd parties that more accurately reflect my values.
