I used to love my Google Pixel phone (mostly for the great camera), now I want to throw it out the window. Every damn day it's some new AI BS. Just saw this while trying to edit a photo of a cat. Yesterday an AI Assistant I thought I'd turned off intercepted a phone call I was expecting from a hospital, and I would have missed the call if I hadn't been actually looking at my phone. Google's new motto is Be Evil. I'm about to just go back to a flip phone since the only options are Google or the equally evil Apple. #AI #Google #MonopoliesSuck

I don't understand coding so a lot of this doesn't make sense to me, but it really sounds like a slow motion implosion over at Bluesky. It also sounds like the person heading it up is a bigot. I'm in serious goof off mode today so messed around with acrylic paints and a technique for making paint look like cut stone I found on YouTube. It's super fun and relaxing. I think I have a new hobby. This will be perfect for days when it's too hot or too cold for outdoor goofing off. Also a good way to avoid the news. #Acrylic #Art

@b0rk I'm not a programmer and Linux just sounds too daunting. Plus I need very specific programs for work that I'm guessing aren't compatible with Linux. A couple years ago I switched from a Windows laptop to a Mac because Apple is slightly less evil.
