I sent a text to a friend this morning that was simply "FUCK IT IS COLD!" followed up with "Sorry, that was auto-correct, I meant to say good morning."Yes while it is only a fraction above freezing, this is Texas so this is rare. I can handle 104f/40c and 90% humidity just fine in the summer, but just above freezing, oh man, no...#weather #winter

@simplenomad I'd be interested to know what's the humidity now? I used to live in Ireland and when it got cold it rarely dipped below freezing but the humidity was still high and it was UNBEARABLE... Now I'm living in Canada and it's regularly far colder (-16ยฐc right now but I can manage)

@nicr9 It was about 65% at dawn during the dog walk, midday now itโs about 50%. I do know with the wind the wind chill makes it feel well below freezing. Thanks to #climatechange there are extremes. Summertime highs have hit 50c and a few winters ago we hit around -16c for several days - massive disaster. I think Canada is absolutely beautiful but I could not handle the winters year after year like that!
