I don’t think of myself as fanatically neat—though I did just wipe down a kitchen counter when I caught an oblique view of a water stain because just knowing it was there would annoy me haha. Anyway. How would you describe usual state of your domicile?

Tripping me out. A 1993 episode of SHERLOCK HOLMES with an actor who is obviously extremely elderly. Turns out Gwen Ffrangcon-Davies was ONE HUNDRED YEARS OLD when this was shot and died only two months later, just after turning 101. The story it's based on was first published in 1904, inspired by events in 1899, and she would have certainly remembered living in both years. Craziness!Oh, and Ffrangcon-Davies was also a lesbian. Happy Pride!

One summer around 1978 I got chicken pox. All I wanted was that pink calamine lotion for the itching. The most terrifying thing—terrifying me since 2016—is how evangelicals decided Trump was chosen by God. Which wrapped him in their faith system. Which meant they’d never question what he does—only defend it, no matter how inconsistent or lunatic it is. The same way they position all God’s Genesis mindfuckery as good.So, people who were voting for cheaper groceries are now saying widespread financial hardship—INFLICTED ON THEM BY NO ONE BUT THEIR OWN GUY—is just something that has to be done.
