@xerz there seems to be some kind of fork(?) on Github, with the earliest commit listing 1.11.0.1 : https://github.com/oneye/oneye/blob/9e2f98b39b0586ee72b5d8a13386e88837b90d7a/settings.php

@jeena I seem to remember some interesting stuff in Seoul, but that's probably "major major city" bonus, and something to seek out vs available in any random shop.

@q "your favorite light color is: red""you added 535 new Zigbee devices this year (really only 31, the integration freaked out a few times)""you restored your config from backup: 5 times! that's below average!""your computer-related energy usage is in the top 2%"

@izaya I'm not sure any drives with it ever got released. Some mainboards were demoed, with adapters to PCIe as stand-in for the drives, and then it died?

small hack from a while ago: A synchronized grid on my homepage people can draw on, and it updates a small epaper display on my desk. It's been fun to occasionally glance over it and see it has randomly changed because someone went by my website (https://www.svenknebel.de) and drew a new pattern 😃 #OpenEPaperLink

@q66 for one thing, tooling like that needs to be able to intercept messages before they reach everybody, so it needs special interfaces into the servers (i.e. it can't be implemented as a normal bot against the client APIs), and e.g. in the case of Matrix that doesn't fit in the architecture well because there is not even "the server"?

@SuperDicq @0xabad1dea he even went on reddit debating people about it a while back: https://old.reddit.com/r/recruitinghell/comments/15kj845/canonical_the_recruitment_process_really_is_that/CEO arguing with people on social media is a good sign of having lost the plot.

@spook I wonder if it has some overeager "detect hardware changes for SecURitY reasons" feature that gets spooked or breaks...

@tomjennings I don't think I'd have read that label as a "brag". I'd say it was more a misguided expectation being imposed.

@jana they do sometimes give them out, and pretty much everyone hosting one seems to have more than enough credits, so I'd expect you'll get offered some pretty soon after posting :D

@martijnbraam no, it doesn't? That's how git itself and the kernel use it, but even Git's own documentation is very clear that there is no global meaning and it is project-specific.
