@StargazerBird @volpeon @thatonecalculator That's because you're looking at it from the wrong angle. It's not "one" platform like Twitter or Instagram. It's software that each instance owner has installed on their own server. The owners have the code. It's like have a website on your own server, just that this website can talk to other websites.If one feels confident enough to change the software/code, one can change that. Adjust one's own website.

@volpeon Happened to me as a teenager once. Woke up, went to take a shower (bathroom beside my parents' bedroom), went into kitchen to eat breakfast, wondered why there were other radio hosts on than usual.It was 2am.

@killyourfm @thunderbird It was a client refusing a price offer.I mainly felt bad for the person as it seems they didn't know how to phrase it themselves.The shame was how obvious it was. On one hand we're all humans and refusing something can be difficult. On the other hand - 😬 yeah. Definitely colored the view.
