welp, i just made a downloader for some semi-crappy movie streaming site (it just parses the page, rips out the "movie_id" and "episode_id", fires of a request to get the link to the page that points to the stream, grabs the stream link (HLS) and feeds that to ffmpeg and then ffmpeg does all the hard work :D), i only made it because a friend sent me a link to a movie on said site and asked if i could download it (youtube-dl didn't work, neither did JDownloader)

i spent way too long trying to tear apart the obfuscated javascript on the page before deciding to hack togehther a crappy HTTP "proxy" in python using flask+requests because my second idea was just proxying through a browser and snatching the stream link, and then i saw a requests for a "/movie/load-stream/" URL fly by and decided to figure out how that URL got constructed, and now i have a 12 line python script that can rip streams from [redacted].[tld]

I'm starting to really like #radare2 even though the command syntax can be a bit... unreadable, i guess i can uninstall IDA Pro now :P(the command i ran for the output in the picture does to following:find every call to 0x414570 and disassemble 20 instruction before and after it (see reply for the command, don't want to paste it here because it's not very screen-reader friendly))

look mom, no DLL-Injector! (i modified my #ScrapHacks DLL so that it can be loaded as a python module (at load time it hooks two functions to prevent an error message from showing up, then it initializes itself and spawns a thread to run its main loop and unhooks the functions), also i managed to hook into IDirect3DDevice8->DrawIndexedPrimitive and fuck with the lighting so everything is flashing random colors now :D... and i can turn off Z-Buffering which makes every an incomprehensible mess :D

Code: cleaned upConsole hook: made awesome-ernow i have a proper command interpreter (with help functionality!) hooked into the game's console, i guess i can throw out the "press key to do $thing" logic now (or maybe add some code to allow binding keys to console commands)

@alayna https://sug.rocks/dl.html they don't offer streams though, but you should be able to just plug the download link into your video player of choice

it's 3 in the morning and i'm listening to Buckethead (Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot is a *very* good album) and futzing around with Plan 9 (i blame @grainloom and @neauoire for that :U )
