@bady Thing is I really don't know what software freedom means. For me it's like saying I have no opinion on whether we should restrain free radicals because I don't understand biochemistry. But I know what privacy and foe are.

@bady It clearly is difficult to understand given the number of pages this site has and clarification pages. It's certainly similar to the idea that pharmaceuticals have to allow generics. But without the period where the innovator having exclusive rights. It's a complicated issue it doesn't favour everyone and freedom applies to those with skills and money. @praveen marginal costs are not the only costs. I recall the film about zuckerberg social media is it. He stole the idea for Facebook from three rich frat boys at harvard. But they should have lawyered up before hiring him. I don't think they had another clever idea their whole lives and he didn't break any copyright laws. @pluralistic It seems to have become easier to control farmers but it's really how farmers have been treated in India over centuries usually by foreign rulers which still goes on if you accept Delhi is foreign to them. But in India old school regulations and paper licences. India has not gone digital yet but nice to see the future I guess.

@acasf But don't you think people who confound any dislike or bad thing going on with Nazism help spread the confusion and untruths. Every country is becoming xenophobic and has a policy on immigration. That is not the same as setting up death camps is it. @happymoomoo @tixie These political terms have become more fluid. Perhaps ask for a definition and if you aren't accused of something terrible because you asked then it might be clearer. The fasces are a bundle of rods bound to an axe carried to show the power to beat and kill of someone with authority. So it can refer to any authoritarian totalitarian regime run by violence. The bundle of rods also showed strength in unity so it tends to refer to nationalist ideologies. But these days who knows

@mur2501 I had to choose between natural philosophy which meant Biology and Chemistry or Classics at age 12 in my school. I chose classics so I'm really catching up on science these days. @isi
