Has Antifa been getting involved in any of the Israel/Gaza protests in the United States, or do they pretty much specialize in "trans" now?I just got curious, because I haven't noticed anything from them lately, and they tend to have some involvement in big protests.

Stop giving teens devices that, due to very normal curiosity and poor judgement, they are very often going to use to commit a "crime" of which they are the only victim.My god, to be a kid today. Governments are already wanting to sterilize them. Now, they are also setting them up to be inadvertent criminals.Take away the phones, and then leave kids the Hell alone.

I honestly cannot figure out why parents want kids walking around with Internet-connected devices, particularly ones that can take and send pictures.Why???It would be one thing if they were just phones, for making calls. That would be like having the kid carry around a mini pay phone, I guess. I can understand the convenience of that.Why they want their kids to carry the mini computers, I cannot grasp.

She did many videos (gosh, I think it was more than a dozen) making fun of Meghan Murphy, including mocking her voice, a couple of years ago, all sparked by Meghan making a brief, negative comment about some anonymous feminists on Twitter. I once enjoyed her videos, but I had to stop following her after that.

@ChasingWaterfalls I've been saying for years that the one form of Internet "censorship" I would like is for people to stop being able to post unauthorized pictures of other people online. I knew there would have to be exceptions, in order to cover news events involving public figures, but I also remembered that, in the television era, you couldn't just force people to be on TV. For segments to be aired on "Candid Camera," even, people had to sign consent forms after the fact.If this is part of a package that significantly protects the privacy of all Canadians, then the fact that thieves receive the same protection is a small price to pay. I suspect it isn't, though.

@Lady_Penelope @HebrideanHecate That's an interesting idea. I'm fairly poor, myself, and sometimes, I do think it's a result of a lifelong negative mindset or perhaps a "scarcity mindset." At the same time, I speak well and can "pass" as middle class.Low wages and high rent can be killer. If I look back to when I had even less, I sometimes lived on saltines. I can't imagine watching my child have to do it.

@polarisera True. I think the first states to have vaccine mandates were red states. Eventually, it flipped and became more of a blue thing. I think the parties take turns sucking so that all states can be ruined over time.
