Every social platform has downsides.Insta makes people resentful because what's posted there is heavily curated. Bluesky fosters nazis and has a ridiculous moderation system.Twitter is basically freemium now, and also yaknow nazis. Facebook is full of insane boomers with violence fantasies. Nextdoor lets you know that some of those insane boomers live on your street. Mastodon was created by an evil wizard who wants to catch all the Smurfs to turn them into gold. It's all about tradeoffs.
