I want YouTube and Facebook to stop recommending to me the Johnny Depp Amber Heard trial every time I go online. This stupid public fight is to the great pleasure of men's rights activists. I don't care what Amber Heard threw, whether or not she hit him, etc, it is not the same for a multitude of reasons as spousal abuse involving a male perpetrator. The risk for his life and safety is extremely low. He's physically stronger and able to leave. He has an incredible amount of power, physically and socially, and he has a hell of a lot more power than she does. I think he's using this trial as a platform to socially abuse her, and he's gaining power from all the woman-hating voices in society looking for proof of male victimhood, that will back him up.Comparing this to what women face in abusive relationships makes a mockery of the real struggle we endure and the degree of danger we are in when faced with male violence.Men following this case will use this in the future as a foothold to gaslight women, especially vulnerable women in abusive relationships. This suits their agenda of trying to flip the narrative and making the woman think that any imperfection or expression of anger on her end justifies a male reaction of unlimited intimidation, emotional, physical, and mental abuse.

@LadyMont Pretty much every one of my friends who struggles with mental illness is suicidal at least some of the time, but a lot of this comes from stigma, disadvantages, poverty and a lack of overall options. I don't see how this isn't just a way to get rid of vulnerable populations. When you're in a crisis and you go in to get care, you'll just end up leaving with a suicide pill or not leaving at all. It's financially motivated extermination disguised as compassion.

@wyliesau It's not exactly killing anything, as a direct "murder" situation, even if it was a baby capable of living outside the womb. The actual issue here is that baby or egg goo or whatever it is, is not entitled to survive at the expense of another human. Just because it is dependent on a host to survive, does not put that host in an obligation position to support it. I'm not sure what the laws are where you are, but in Canada, you cannot even take organs from a corpse to save a life if the previously alive person specified that was not what they wanted for their future dead body. Even a corpse has no obligation to save the life of someone dependent on those organs. So the fact is that even if it's a cute little innocent baby depending on the organs and blood loss of a woman to survive, that woman is in no way obligated to make a body sacrifice to support it. The supposed logic you are tooting here smells like a bad fart. The reason you can stink us all up here is that you will never be in that position of having someone call you a murderer for not cutting off your own arm to save the life of a dependent parasite. Take your smelly butt hole away from us, and stop tooting your smelly idiocy for us all to suffocate on the stench.

@susansiens @wyliesau People who think women are obligated to sacrifice their bodies and minds to support the development of a fetus have boundary issues. Yeah, I can imagine it might disturb some to imagine women could have the ability to stamp out the entire species if we all had reproductive freedom, but get the fuck over it. Lots of women want to be mothers so there's not much to worry about in that regard and overpopulation is completely ruining the planet anyways.

Such a weird fucking day.I smashed my phone because I was pissed off.Then I went and bought a single tall can because I haven't drank alcohol in 6 months and I'm feeling like crap.Then I started cleaning my place and went to take out the trash.....I found a 12 pack in the garbage can. A full unopened 12 pack of Budweiser. Do ppl put beer in the garbage for safe keeping? I thought they wont miss one so I took one and took the whole case out of the garbage and put it beside the garbage, not in. If I took the case, would someone be mad that I stole beer out of the garbage? Like maybe my building owner is storing beer in the trash...because....?Well he won't miss one can.

@Yemaya The guy says her holding onto the fence "may" have prevented a kidnapping. I understand that they can't say anything criminalizing about the person before a trial, but let's face it, she DID prevent a kidnapping. I love it when women and girls fight off these pieces of shit. Funny, men always try to give advice to "not fight" a rapist because he "likes it" and it will just get him off more, but in reality, men are lazy cowards and when you show them you won't back down easily, your chances of escape are higher.

@MellowMarigold My family lives fairly close but I come from a family that is essentially dirt-poor. My mom lives in mold-ridden conditions and will be in the small trailer she's living in until she passes away probably. My sister lives in an RV in a Uhaul lot. My dad is an abusive criminal. We're a family with nothing.

@FeralDandelion I would inform the doctor that gender identity could be dangerous to me as a patient and I'm uncomfortable confusing my sex with gender or even having that conversation because it could only serve to complicate things when it comes to my health care. My feelings about gender are separate from my right to receive medical care so please leave religion and politics at the door.

I'm pretty sure I've developed SIRVA - shoulder injury related to vaccine administration, from getting the covid booster shot. Apparently, this happens when they administer the vaccine in the wrong place - they get you too high up and it goes into your shoulder. It causes long-lasting, potentially incurable pain and inflammation and reduced the mobility of your shoulder. I've had soreness in my arm since getting the stupid booster and it hasn't gone away. It's affecting my sleep because I can't really sleep on that side anymore. I just got a notification on my phone for a 4th shot and I want to tell them to shove their vaccinations up their asses because the government's negligence has ruined my life in a number of ways, this just being the latest thing in a series of bullshit events. If this is incurable I just hope I can file a claim, although last time I checked, only like 5 claims out of 400 in canada for adverse vaccine reactions actually went through. I'm sorry but the freedom convoy has a point. I've cooperated with everything in terms of covid mandates, vaccines, etc, and this is where I end up. This is my right side, so it's always been my dominent/strong side, and now I can't fully rotate my arm without pain and clicking. I've been saying for months now that I feel like I'm healing from a broken arm. This is since I got the vaccine.

@polarisera I'll sure try. My life is hard enough without being injured in a potentially life-long way from some poorly trained volunteer injecting experimental medicine into my arm. If there's any way to get some sort of reimbursement I'm going to do everything I can to access it.
