       @lord_nougat @BanjoPartisan The Kurnell refinery that was operating until 2013 was losing ~AUD100m per year.  Regulations and labour costs etc simply made the work unviable here.  I can see the argument for some kind of strategic reserve held by the govt for emergencies or perhaps (not sure if financially viable) some kind of emergency biodiesel production option.
