There was an issue in the trailer park I lived in back in college. The woman who lived on one side of me had a teen daughter that kept flushing hers and clogging up the sewer system. Luckily it never affected me, but the guy who lived on the other side of me came home several times and found his bathtub half full of poo.

One time, about 20 years ago, me and my standby partner got a call for a power outage out by a farm. There was an old single-phase powerline that ran back behind the farm for about a mile to a camp house for a hunting club.As we rode the line out looking for the problem, we came upon a span that had 20 dead crows hanging upside down from the powerline, and another 20 or so dead crows on the ground below it. The weight of all those birbs had pushed the energized top wire down into the neutral return line below it. It was a bit creepy seeing all those crows just hanging there, blowing gently back and forth in the breeze.

That will just kill all your microbes, won't unclog the pipe. Any tree roots would die, along with the tree probably. Pipe still clogged for a while. Many decades ago, I was a summer intern at the zoo. And we had a chemical to clear the polar bears drain. They would shed tremendous amounts of white hair .. needed something to just hose down the drain, so ..Probably not even legal now, it dissolved hair. Don't get it on your hands as it also melts skin. I don't recall what it was. It wasn't lye, it worked much better than lye.
