       @cameron_bosch You're conflating different technologies. Qt isn't a window compositor, Hyprland isn't a GUI toolkit. And neither is a desktop environment (Plasma)We're still using Qt software; every new GUI app uses Qt 6. We're still using some KDE software (frameworks and some of the apps). Even more so, we specifically said we didn't want to follow the steps Trinity took with KDE 3, which would've meant forking Plasma 5 *just* to keep our custom layer (NX Desktop).

       @cameron_bosch Nonetheless, even if we had considered porting our stuff to the newer Plasma 6 APIs, it would've been the least of the issues. The announcements we made were very clear about why *we* stopped using Plasma. We expressly stated that NX Desktop had achieved its goal, including indirectly shaping Plasma. It was time to move on.The source code for everything in NX Desktop is still available; anyone could simply fork it over and continue that work.
