       I feel bad on one hand, because there’s a real shortage of paid mahi in the arts at the moment so some folks would kill to be in my position. But unfortunately the folks who are short aren’t the ones who can do this work, and there’s no bloody budgets to train up the handful that possibly could with a bit of prodding

I only just extracted myself from one commitment that required being away from home for weeks, and today I tentatively took on another.At least this one would be half the time away from home, and a fraction of the travel distance, meals provided the whole time I'm away.
