My 2005 bought computer is on its last legs, and I need to get an external memory to pour the valuable files/documents/downloads into before it goes black, so I can save the good stuff before the old girl finally goes black and fades out. I have the new one, the adapter, all I need is a box to save the data to, maybe an external drive or two large memory sticks at least. The old warhorse is still with me, but I'm thinking it won't see spring.

@TheBoonieGhoul have had many successes over many years buying refurbished tech from free geek. They are a nonprofit and so a purchase there might even be a tax write-off. Https://freegeek.org

@onan @TheBoonieGhoul I've been looking for a refurbished computer store that isn't scuzzy or somebody who's just taking junk off the street and hawking it online, thanks for this.
