Well, Mike Allain's visit finally happened, and I gave him my present...and he gave me HIS. I now have a super monster new DELL computer, Windows 10, super speedy, monster graphics, EVIL GENIUS one and two, damn near everything I could have needed... Except a wifi plugin. Goddamn thing even has a DVD player to replace my old dead one!! My Ethernet cable is ruined, so we're going to get one real soon...and start shifting my stuff from the old tower to the new one. Praise Fucking "Bob"!!

I'm giving another try to get Doktor G'Hul glorious sentient starship, the GODDESS DISCORDIA , right...between ChatGPT and Leonardo, came up with this reasonable first attempt. It got the "Bob" figurehead pretty much right ( but with a beard ), went overboard on the thick body instead of the lean main hull, got the Discordian Hodge/Podge on the wings OK, and went overboard on the Victorian church superstructure at the rear. It's kind of the DISCORDIA, sort of. I think ChatGPT will nail it.

Google gemini with Nano Banana third attempt to nail the GODDESS DISCORDIA. Closer, but still broken. "Bob" is closer, but the symbology is too loud, the wings are all back asswards, and it still needs a lot of edit. Praise "Bob" for letting me find one that can be endlessly edited.

Pretty damned close to perfect GODDESS DISCORDIA, USING Arcadia blueprints, black with red highlights, "Bob" face, and a Sacred Chao. Not exactly right, but far better than it was. Too small, though.

My 2005 bought computer is on its last legs, and I need to get an external memory to pour the valuable files/documents/downloads into before it goes black, so I can save the good stuff before the old girl finally goes black and fades out. I have the new one, the adapter, all I need is a box to save the data to, maybe an external drive or two large memory sticks at least. The old warhorse is still with me, but I'm thinking it won't see spring.

Thought I had the Dell computer nailed, even without the documents from the warhorse. Turns out that it won't accept the USB adapter - it demands the Ethernet flat 15 foot cable. The adapter is useless. Couldn't find a way - it acted like the adapter wasn't even there. I need that cable. Fuck all the fucking fuck. Thought I had it. ( grumble bitch moan punch walls )

I'm doing as little as possible online, to slow the degen to a trickle. No pop into Safe Mode, because I don't want to find out that the system is fried AFTER I do it. Just Facebook and the occasional Discord to keep them in the know. Nothing else, especially not fun stuff. I'm going boring until Mike comes ( hopefully ) on Friday to drain the old warhorse and do what must be done. Here's hoping.

My very, very, sort of almost, very, very best friend, Russell Langille, turns one year older on the 20th ( he always turns first each year , so he's 63 first, then I catch up in September. ). Just got an email that he's giving up on Yahoo, and moving over to Gmail. For him, that's a major technological leap forward. Next, he'll be actually using Facebook. One hopes. Oh, well.

The WarHorse is put out to stud, and the Colt is running happily, snorting and kicking, and no fan noise at all. She's so full of Slack, she's farting frop smoke like a volcano.
