I guess I didn’t realize there was a schism between the Anglican Church in England and the Anglican Church elsewhere Hopefully the others are still actually a church and not a progressive activist group

@jb @NoDoxGregBrady It's really misleading to say "the Anglican church." Better to say "the Anglican churches." What we call Anglican churches today are the children of the church of England spawned in every Anglo colony. Various Anglican churches are in and out of communion with each other, and are various levels of gay, with the Episcopalians probably taking the top spot, although CofE is a strong contender. Gafcon in Africa and the continuing churches in the US are not really gay at all, or at least, minimally gay.

My father went on a mission trip to Africa once The focus was to build buildings for them while showing them how to do it for themselves (which knowing what I know now seems utterly laughable)Needless to say it was a failure… Yes, they built a couple of buildings, but the attitude of the Africans was very predictable… Gibs me dat, too hard, too much work, etc. My dad came home and told me that the blacks in Africa were just like the niggers in America… in retrospect he should have been able to figure that out without going given that he was an unapologetic race realist Obviously, he never went back there… his future projects always involved poor white communities in the US and Canada
