"Well ICE broke his rib a week ago so that proves he's a trouble maker!"....... . . Maybe. I don't know. This is going to sound crazy but maybe it shows that ICE has been trying to kill him for a whole week instead?I mean, if he'd so much as given an ICE employee cause to stumble resulting a self-inflicted paper cut we'd KNOW. So it sounds like ICE broke his rib and he didn't shoot them then either. Even though, you know, self defense and all that. Anyways.

@futurebird You know what this reminds me of? People who try to say that Black people commit more crimes because they represent a higher percentage in prison populations than in the population at large. They think that "proves" something. No. What it tells me is that police tend to arrest more Black people, and juries tend to convict Black people. White people commit more crimes, but are less likely to get arrested, and even less likely to be convicted of a crime.Blame the victim is an old game. BTW, the very first case J got at the Public Defender's office could be disproven in seconds and resulted in a "no pros" (no prosecution). But, why did it even get to that point? This man was arrested based on the complaint only (no other evidence) of his estranged ex-girlfriend. He was at work when she said he committed a crime 40 miles away. A simple phone call or visit to his employer (a workplace with cameras, mind you) could have cleared it up, and then they could charge her with making false statements (though they hardly ever do). This poor man was processed and spent time in jail. I hope the arrest was expunged. But, the trauma remains. And no one to answer for it.

Or at least, it waves a giant hand right towards those two smoking guns.I have no doubt that the Gestapo jackboots who murdered him had him on a list of acceptable targets to murder, which is a hell of a thing to think about, a murder list, now isn't it?
