@GlitchGhostYeah the big gaming bubble and fandoms are over on Bluesky.I really like the bubble, but I'd much rather have it here, too.Maybe in 5-10 years, if the people finally understand that using big tech platforms was, is and will never be sustainable 🙂↕️

@KazuShuSora well lets hope the bluesky bubble pops and they all move here but I think open source and decentralized stuff is the future weather people like it or not unless they like being controlled on locked down sites where you need an account just to browse the damn thing. Just look at all the other big sites out there I'm amazed more haven't switch to the fediverse

@GlitchGhost @KazuShuSora A lot of people love the algorithm, actually. Most people that came from fedi moved back. I think decentralized stuff is great, but I don't think adoption of it is gonna be too great.

@mischievoustomato @KazuShuSora yeah true and your right on that last part. What really annoys me is how all the big popular ones (X, TitkTok, instragram etc) are big because they are designed around addiction and being as addictive as possible like drugs. Here on the fediverse it honestly feels more claim when compared to those site and I wish more people would see that and adapt to it more

@GlitchGhost @KazuShuSora It's not for everyone I'd say. And technically building an addictive algorithm on here I think wouldn't be hard, but probably expensive. I'm of the "let people use what they want".
