@jackyan doh! Hope you manage to give it the slip before it sets in! My whole family came down with a flu (very snotty, coughing, fever) as we were finishing the Milford Track a few days ago... Assuming we came in contact with it before the tramp, but yeah, a bit of an annoying surprise.

@jackyan hope you're able to recover quickly! Yeah, we were lucky the flu didn't set in while we were in the thick of the tramp! Can't work out how we all got exposed (we were with another family over the past couple weeks, and they didn't seem to get it at all)...

@lightweight Could just be your bodies having done a bit more than normal, leaving them susceptible to that random bug in the air. The drop in temperature yesterday did not help me … or the 5 a.m. start last Saturday!
