@jb Before Gates retired it was always understood that Microsoft's primary market - the paying market - was business users and there was shit you could get away with doing to dimwit consumers that you could not foist on business. In particular anything that compromised privacy was right out - say, for example, making the operating system a keylogger or botnet. Pajeet takes over and within two updates Windows is a keylogger and botnet.

@judgedread @jb MS is not fucking with business users... yet.And Gates never retired.MS has too much debt and is making big gambles with this AI thing, they missed every single big trend in the past where cheating and lying didn't guarantee them a monopoly position, the Internet, Smartphones, Game consoles, etc. They want to make sure they don't miss the AI train this time. Because they have Azure with recurring revenue which is the favourite type of collateral of the jews, MS can raise enormous amounts of debt.Microsoft can't function if it doesn't completely dominate as a monopoly, It is all business idiocy of the highest calibre at this point and also parasite pajeets have infested the company.Best people can do (those with a brain) is to move to better pastures and forget about Windows if their workloads/jobs permit.

@Heil_Honkler @jb See that nice TPM that's now mandatory? Well it permits via asymmetric cryptography to ensure that you can or can't run whatever MS wants, as a permanent basis or a rental. And it is in principle pretty non-hackeable. Microsoft also plan to set their applications to gain new functionality that you can unlock in the future for extra money, want more backup options (to the MS cloud of course) pay a fee, want a better file manager experience? pay for explorer plus fee, etc.Remember that XBOX console thing with such a degree of DRM that renders the machine useless (brick) if you dare look at it the wrong way or try to repair/ get data out of it? well is coming to a PC near you including permabans for your MS online account for being the antisemite you are and shouting "nigger!" to the rat kid that killed you for the tenth time this morning while playing battlefield.
