       i emailed him later and said just pay that whenever you're able to.  if he wants me to do more work (he does) he'll have to pay this invoice

       i think this is fair. i can't work for free. just strange how people will ignore you instead of just saying something like ok thanks i can't pay right now, screw you, never talk to me again, or something

       i don't see any point in giving someone an estimate and waiting for approval for something so trivial and he's also been a client in the past, so it's implicit that if he says my junk is broken that i should go ahead and fix it
