i still didn't get any shop work done. however i did fix a few long standing, annoying bugs with my laptop, like the grub boot loader screen having a microscopic tiny font on this laptop monitor, and sleep not working when the lid was closedneed to eat food first then we are gona do the last one of these trailing arms i guess

after i move maybe i'll machine some patterned die rollers to roll larger bars into smaller 1 gram bars and sell them. seems like there is money to be made just by doing this

@Flick sounds like a bad bearing in an idler or tensioner pulley for a serpentine belt, alternator pulley, power steering bearing, or similar thing that is driven by a belt. if you smell burning rubber, the bearing is seizing up or has a lot of resistance and is burning the belt. get someone competent to listen to all your pulleys with a stethoscope or just inspect it during a cold start. leaving it much longer will likely leave you stranded when a belt breaks.
