       @RonV42 It's an existential issue for his party.Without the Census apportioned seats, generally including state ones as well as the Federal House of Representatives, and votes generated using illegal aliens, the Democrats are facing permanent minority status at the national level, and will lose some of their Blue states ("There are no Blue states, only Blue cities.")With his state forcing productive citizens out, especially from Chicago and other urban areas, it's very possible only even more blatant cheating will maintain their whip hand over the rest of the state which is Red last time I checked.  Chicago's going Chapter 9 bankrupt at a high rate of speed, and the state is not far behind except as a sovereign entity there's no Federal law bankruptcy mechanism for them.Ah, that's another existential issue, he, Newsom. Walz etc. really, really need to have control of D.C. when their states and cities need bailing out.
