@mndnau I'm currently copying my music folder from a T410 to a latitude E5430 using a naked HDD with a usb adapter plugged into it as a vehicle. I might as well have two tin cans on a string and a rusty mallet pinging out morse code between two hand crank singer sewing machines tbh.

@rowb1t @kittenlikeasmallcat @mndnau years ago, back when I was still fixated on dumb bullshit like this that is ultimately a waste of my time, I came across a thing about backing up data to paper by printing it out to bitmaps and then a separate thing about putting the paper in resin-filled boxes, which would I think be the most cost-effective way to archive data over a long period of time
