Bel-Air, a 'serious' remake of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air: Episode 5 and we finally meet a doorknob with 'they/them' pronouns who meets the brilliant 12 yr old, Ashley: -No it is not, Ashley. This has been the norm for humankind since before we became homo sapiens! DUH they/thems.

And finally: is the they/them correct? Why do we need to quantify and pokemon all of the zillion variations of how humans relate to each other at all? Why not just talk instead of LABELLING? Seems like I spent a lot of time trying to get rid of labels while today's naive pronounsters want more and more pokemon.~I forgot, isn't this where the 'good' concept of 'wokeness' began? How it's gone awry!

@LaylaAlexandrovna Oh for fuck's sakes... Why would you do a SERIOUS remake of a comedy??What a ridiculous idea. Like the very definition of sucking the fun out of something. And labels are kind of useful. They tell other people important info about ourselves, like for example, is that person in my potential dating pool or not. They don't exist just so we can mentally wank about what we are, they exist so we can simplify our social life by not wasting time on figuring out info which could be given out with a single word.
