       So they did a study of thermometer station siting in the US and discovered that 96% of all the weather stations used for the climate modeling are POORLY SITED; run by volunteers, are not maintained more often than possibly 3 years, mostly MANUALLY submitted and then transcribed data (potential for up to 4 transcription errors in the data by humans!)etc etc etcCITE ME SOME MORE PAPERS, GO ON, DO IT

       @picofarad They're also to close to cities here stuff seems warmer. Also, jailbreak an AI it'll absolutely give you why climate change is absolute garbage.

       @Fox yeah but NOAA, NASA, realclimate.org, etc all say that the data is adjusted to account for urban heat islanding.regardless, the adjustment they apply to the data actually makes the UHI worse, as it is a *trend* bias and they apply step-debiasing.
