       @quasi Have a question for the author? Why would that surprise them? There is a huge expat Iranian community to me, a lot of monarchists to be fair, but they've been want someone to kick the Ayotollah out since the 1980's.A lot of immigrant communities would like the US to fix something back home; then, they want to US to leave so they can build a democracy. Cuba, Mexico, the Phillipines, etc. A lot of Americans oppose that kind of action for reasons -- blood and treasure, but also because the US tends not to leave.
