       @futurebird @mcc maybe it’s just the Michigander in me, but is going to hockey games more rare than going to a rodeo?I’ve done both, but I played more hockey games as a kid than I attended rodeos in my life.

       @lerxst @mcc I think a lot of people go to hockey games but the kind of people I hang out with always find it very exotic and exciting when I tell them about the times that I've gone since my IRL friends don't know about sports, white people things or guy stuff much. "tell us about the hockey game? what kind of snacks did they have?"it's very fun.

       @futurebird wait now I want to know too…what kind of snacks *do* they have at hockey games? I assumed it wss just normal hot dogs and nachos stadium fare, but…what if I'm wrong?? 👀

       @futurebird @lerxst The list was interesting to me because I stereotypically think of people who go to hockey games and people who go to rodeos as being people from two non-overlapping areas. Except that apparently Alberta is super into both. So unless I'm underestimating the popularity of rodeos in the northern US, to establish a person is well rounded we might need to add a third thing which you don't tend to find in Canada.
