@bbatsov One aspect of Vi style keybindings that I always find strange is their insistence on forcing you to manually calculate things. "Go 10 lines down", "I spam j 10 times instead of just type the more 'efficient' 10j". You are a human, 10j is just unnatural. In Emacs, I usually just hold C-n until I get where I want, or C-s type where I want to be at. I don't even have number lines enabled.

@tusharhero @bbatsov That's why I like meow. I'm starting to wonder what meow actually does for me besides provide a shorter keymap without C or M. That is pretty nice though.

@Zenie @bbatsov I know the author, he has put a lot of thought into its design, and he tries to avoid reinventing the wheel as much as possible.

@tusharhero @bbatsov I appreciate their thoughtfulness. It is very thin. I find myself moving between meow and the usual bindings a lot.
