Updates from bro in Minneapolis:"I'm taking a shift at [multiple places in a Somali community] and then going and helping make sure some neighbor kids get home from the bus stop safely.""I'm literally just going out and hanging out with neighbors to keep people safe."

"We've got people collecting rent donations, grocery donations, printing whistles and zines.""I was checking on the strip mall this morning because a DHS chopper was overhead, and I was speaking to a lady who's like 'I'm 76 years old, if they want to beat me they can go ahead, I'm not letting anyone in without a fight.'"

This is how we fucking change the world, people! It's us taking care of each other, no matter what the fash may do.The harder they try to stomp us down, the more we'll pull together.

Again, there is a place for all of us in this. You don't have to find something especially "important" to do, you don't need to be the hero of the revolution. Just do things that need doing, ask for help when you need it, & give to others what you have to give. And YES, ASKING FOR HELP IS PART OF THIS. We need you. We're not leaving anyone behind. You're not a burden. You're one of us.

There is not a single person who "doesn't matter". There is not a single person who is too insignificant to be needed. To be one of us, you have to be willing to give of yourself, but what we each give will be different. There is no contribution "too small". No one is a "burden". We're all shouldering one load together here. That's the point; it's always been the point.
